Trading Spaces Cast – Where are They Now?
I used to watch Trading Spaces all the time.  Anyone else?  Did you have a favorite designer? Or a least favorite designer?  I always liked Laurie Smith and Vern Yip – they didn’t go crazy weird on the design.  Hildi on the other hand…  Check out the article here.  

Fall Boots
The change in seasons means that I can pull out my boots, which I love.  But my favorites are my Merrell boots.  I think I’m on my fourth year with these boots, and each year people ask me if they’re new.  They’re waterproof, they’re warm, and they’re cute.  Plus, if you have, um, calves, they fit beautifully, without feeling like the circulation is being cut off to your legs.  

Best yet, my husband bought these for me.  I had seen them in an outlet, but didn’t buy them (and totally regretted it).  He actually found them and gave them to me for our anniversary. 🙂

Pet Halloween Costumes
In the past, I haven’t dressed up my dog for Halloween, in part because he’s huge, and I have a hard time finding something that would actually fit him.  But, now that we have a puppy, the opportunity for a coordinated themed look is there.  I’ll admit it, Batman and Robin has crossed my mind.  But, I stumbled upon these costumes at Target, and just couldn’t resist.

It took some wrangling to get the puppy in his costume (and to sit still long enough to take a picture).  Don’t be fooled by that face.  He’s a stinker and the reason I’m getting my carpets cleaned today.

Fall Foliage
I know I already mentioned how much I’m loving the fall colors, but it bears repeating.  Take time to stop and appreciate Mother Nature’s beauty.  It doesn’t last long.  It’s like the trees are on fire when you catch them with the sun shining on them just right.

Cute Holiday Decor
I’m not trying to get ahead of myself, as I do truly love fall.  But I couldn’t help but share these cute and colorful Christmas trees that I spotted at Target.  What an adorable vignette they would make!

My +1 for the week – wrong numbers.  Allow me to explain.  I’ve been getting phone calls from companies calling to schedule a job interview with someone who doesn’t live here, and never has lived here.  Apparently, he put the wrong number on his resume.  Our number.  Don’t you think that’s something you should proofread on your resume?  Doesn’t bode well for job prospects, does it?  I’m searching around trying to see if I can locate him to notify him of his error.
