Customer Kitchen Makeover

I’m wrapping up the year today, installing the doors in my last kitchen, and thought you might want to see a customer kitchen makeover that I’ve recently completed around here.  It’s been a busy year, and I’m already booked into next year.  I have to say, even though I was nervous about renting warehouse space this year, it’s been such a blessing, and I love that I can go there to work and then leave it there.

Oak Kitchen Makeover – Minus a Planning Desk

As you all know, I love it when my cabinet painting is part of a larger renovation project, and that was the case for this oak kitchen.  The homeowners replaced the countertops and backsplash, painted the walls and reconfigured the area that previously included a planning desk.  One of the homeowners had a brother who is a cabinet maker down south, so he made new cabinets to fill the area where they previously had a planning desk.

Here are some of the before photos:

Before I started painting, the new quartzite countertops were installed.

And the planning desk was replaced with new cabinets.

And here it is after.  The paint color is PPG’s Delicate White.

Since I painted the inside of the glass front doors, I didn’t reinstall the shelves and doors.

The homeowners sent me photos with everything put back together – new hardware and the new backsplash installed.

I have more customer kitchen makeovers that I need to gather together and share soon.  It’s been a fun year, and I’m looking forward to more makeovers next year!
