A Shop Named Circa

Hello!

I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to tackle a new week ahead.  I don’t know about you, but with all of this cold weather, I have been working on projects around the house and taking naps in front of the fire

I was out buying some paint (for a new project), and rediscovered one of my favorite little shops that I thought had closed its doors.  Nope, they’re not closed – they’ve moved (next door to my Paint Guy, no less).  Hooray!

If I ever own a shop, I envision it to be like this one – it’s called Circa.  They carry all sorts of off-the-beaten-path items for your home or to give as a gift.  I would love to know where she finds all of the goodies she carries in her charming little store.

Case in point – this lovely vignette.  So many little pieces united together so beautifully.  I’m really wishing I had taken a closer look at that brass ice bucket now that I see it in this photo!

A nice spring-filled display here, with all sorts of pretty shades of green.

A sweet table and chairs, and I love the wire basket with the trio of bottles.

The chairs are even more charming up close, don’t you think?

I know that monogrammed burlap wall art caught your eye – mine too.

Great idea, right?  You could totally DIY that.

This table is the piece that really caught my eye.  I love it – the detail in the legs is great, and what you can’t see in this picture is that the legs are actually metal.  Way. cool.  It would make a great desk too.  I’m still trying to map out a place for it in my home.
Cute little Valentine’s Day decor made out of some red tin siding.  Oh-so-creative!

And would you look at this vintage inspired gift wrap?  Yes, please.  I know it’s a fuzzy photo, but it’s too cute not to share.

So do you have any shops like this in your area?  I could browse stores like this for days, and am so happy I rediscovered this one!
Don’t forget to link up to the January project party!

How fun – thank you for taking us window shopping with you!! What a great store to browse around in on a Saturday morning, en route to, say, the grocery store!

Debbie moves around a lot~ she has moved her store 6 times since we moved to the Centerville/Washington Township area! It looks as if her retail style seems to have changed significantly since the last time I visited her, based on these pics. I found out that she had moved from her warehouse location off of Franklin next to 5- Star a few weeks ago. I'll have to pop in to see what she's doing now. Stay warm! Sue

I love discovering new shops, and this one looks great. I really think you need to go back for that table and ice bucket =)

Whoops….. I meant to say Star City. There is a painting company I used to use that was called 5-Star. I stopped by Deb's store today, but she was closed. There were no hours posted on the door, either. I'll have to try later in the week if I get a chance. 🙂

What a great little store. Might even call for a trip up your way!
