I’m gearing up for a hectic weekend, but it’s one of my favorites of the season, so it’s worth all of the stress. It’s my cookie exchange weekend. I’m always so thankful that my friends take time out of their busy schedules to come and celebrate together. It’s like a friend-reunion every year. The cookies (and the wine) are just a bonus. Although, if you want my favorite Christmas cookie recipe, you can find it here. That said, if you see me whirling around like the Tasmanian Devil, don’t worry. It’s normal for me when I get ready for this party. The fact that my husband planned a work trip for today and tomorrow is no coincidence. But, let’s get back to the business at hand – the 2019 Holiday Tour of Homes – Kitchens (& Laundry Rooms) – but really, it’s all about the kitchens.
The Tours
Summer Adams had a schedule change, so her entry is on the docket today. But I promise you won’t be disappointed. So much glam goodness to be had.
Heather at Setting for Four is sharing her gorgeous kitchen today. I could totally imagine how amazing it would be to be in this space in the evening, celebrating with friends and family. Simply elegant and stunning.
Over at Life on Cedar Lane, Andrea has a kitchen that I think anyone can get on board with and make themselves comfortable. I love how the touches of green pop against the gorgeous backdrop of her kitchen. What’s not to like, right?
Emily at 11 Gables, decorated her kitchen with beautiful pops of blue (one of my favorites this year).
At Duke Manor Farm, Laura has incorporated some traditional plaid in her holiday kitchen. I love the contrast she has going in parts of her kitchen too. You don’t want to miss it.
You all know how crazy I am for wreaths at the holidays (and so far, I’ve only added three new ones this year). But I think you’ll appreciate the incorporation of wreaths in Amy’s Christmas kitchen at 11 Magnolia Lane.
