  • It’s another Monday, Quarantine Day 16,251. I was able to wrap up this kitchen, as the homeowners were out of town, making it all pretty easy to manage. The color is a light shade of gray called Knitting Needles (a Sherwin Williams color). A fun change of pace, especially with all of the changes going on in this kitchen. New floors, counters, paint, and a new backsplash coming as well. #kitchenremodel
  • I can’t take credit for this deep green beauty - all of the kudos go to my friend @paintedbykaylapayne. As cabinet painters, I think I can speak for everyone in how fun it is to do cabinets in a fun color that isn’t white. Check out this gorgeous before and after! #kitchen
  • Trying to maintain some bits of NORMAL these days, which means sharing pretty kitchens with you! This beauty is one that I finished a few months ago and the homeowner just shared finished photos of the space. It’s such an amazing transformation - new molding, counters, hardware, backsplash - so many things! The color is a custom color that we had matched to a cabinet door. I’m loving this sophisticated muted gray look. What do you think? How are you staying sane these days? #graycabinets
  • How about a kitchen makeover to brighten your day? I hope you’re all hanging in there with the world that we live in right now. This is like something out of books that I’ve read (and I’m really wishing I had done some stockpiling after reading those books). It is what it is. I’m just hoping I don’t turn into an OCD, germophobic, hypochondriac, hoarder when this is all said and done. 😬 Back to this kitchen. These are the SAME cabinets - the homeowner added crown molding to the top of the cabinets and I installed new hardware. Gorgeous new quartz counters too - I *love* them. They’re the perfect mix of white, gray and brown. The floors were refinished too. They used to be the same orangey oak as the cabinets. Gorgeous glass backsplash ties it all together. How are you holding up in this crisis? What sanity savers are you putting to work? My gym was closed yesterday, and I’m SO SAD. I know there are bigger issues in the world, but the gym is my sanity sanctuary. Looking into online workouts now. Any favorites out there? Otherwise I’ll be on track to becoming a fat alcoholic... 😂 #kitchen
  • I can’t take credit for this gorgeous makeover - all of the kudos go to @tygerlilypaint! This kitchen is like a ray of sunshine on this freezing cold morning! Check out her feed for some amazing makeovers - she has some mad skills I tell you! #kitchendesign
  • Sharing my Top Nine posts from 2019 - lots of kitchens and a couple of gray ones in there too! Looking forward to sharing more with you in 2020! Thanks for all of your support as I grow this small business of mine. In other news, my husband is on the mend and improving with every day! #kitchens
  • Sharing some kitchen goodness with you as I sit here in the hospital waiting for my hubby to get out of gall bladder removal surgery. What an exhausting 24 hours it’s been! Abdominal pain (I thought he had a stomach bug that had been going around, and was being a wee bit dramatic). But his pain was off the charts and hard to control. Hoping he’s finally able to rest and get some relief. This is no fun! Anyone else have this surgery? His situation was “acute” so I think that made it all worse. Wondering what to expect post gallbladder removal. BTW, the cabinet color in this beautiful kitchen is Snowbound - a Sherwin Williams color. #kitchen
  • It’s gingerbread day! We got together at my friend’s house and she supplied us with all of the goodies to make our own houses. Suffice to say, the competition was FIERCE (but fun). Do you have a favorite? #gingerbreadhouse
  • It’s all about holiday bedroom tours today, and my tour is live! We’ve done a lot in here since you last saw it - painted the walls (Collingwood), new bedding, new carpet goes in on the 19th! 🙌 I kept it pretty simple with wreaths from Target (thank you Joanna Gaines) and fresh greenery too. But make no mistake, I removed my old school digital clock, my nighttime lotions and my bottle of water to make this photo IG-worthy. And behind the camera, it’s a hot mess. I promise you. 😉 Check out the full tour - link in profile! #christmastour
  • Entries + Dining Room tours are on the agenda for today! I miss having a defined entryway to our home, so I love seeing them decked out for the holidays! Don’t miss them! @11magnolialane @pink_peppermint_design @citrineliving @cindyhattersley @homebyheidi @seekinglavenderlane #christmashometour
  • Do you love a good house tour as much as I do? Well you’re in luck this week! I’m partnering with @11magnolialane again this year and we have 30 brilliant bloggers coming together to open their homes to you. The 2019 Holiday Tour of Homes kicks off today and we’re starting with outdoor spaces (with different room features every day). Get ready to be inspired and perhaps your mind will be blown a little bit. 🎅🏻 Today we’re kicking things off with @thecreativityexchange @lifeofblissblog @most_lovely_things @southernheather @sincerelysarad @southernrhoda #holidayhometour
  • Spray Day! I usually only spray onsite if a kitchen is 1) large or 2) detailed. This one hits both of those marks. So, it’s about eight+ hours of prep, with less than an hour of spraying. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Lots of changes taking place in here though. New floors, new lighting and a new backsplash will be installed as well. I’ll finish up the topcoat tomorrow and wrap this one up next week. In the meantime, if you have mad prep skills and are interested in some part-time work, message me! I have an amazing helper right now, but can use another set of hands. Things are busy! It’s all good. #kitchensofinstagram
