A Blue, Orange + Cream Thanksgiving Color Palette

Hello!

I’m late in posting today – my apologies.  It’s my daughter’s 9th birthday and homecoming week, so things have been a bit crazier than the norm.

I hadn’t been to Target in awhile, but they never cease to come up with ideas and products that make this happen:

So, in that sense, I it’s not always a bad thing that I don’t get to Target regularly.  But, when I do, watch out!  With the seasons changing, there were plenty of things to get my wheels turning.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I could deck out my Thanksgiving table in full Target flair, with a non-traditional color palette of navy blue, orange and cream.  Let me illustrate.

First, I would wear one of these stylish aprons while I slaved over my turkey, homemade stuffing and store-bought pumpkin pies.

I could serve up drinks in these stylish beverage tubs.

Plenty of options for my Thanksgiving table available too – maybe a cream or navy table runner with some warm rusty orange placemats.

Paired with some festive plates, it would be beautiful!

The options for salt an pepper shakers are just too darn cute.  How do you choose?  Acorns?

Or owls?  Or both?

Of course, I would have to be sure that my kitchen received equal treatment.  Some pretty kitchen towels?

Or festive (and coordinating) canisters?

Along with some coordinating bowls for dips or snacks?

And I just love this paper towel holder.  Considering how boring and uninspired paper towel holders usually are, I think this design is brilliant!

So stylish – and it would coordinate with my apron (and kitchen towels).

If I need additional space for serving drinks or even dinner, I could pull out one of these great wooden bar carts and put them to work!

Then I could curl up with one of these cozy blankets and take a much-deserved nap.

Once I hit some (online) Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, I can put my scotch tape in this cute gold puppy and get a head start on my wrapping!

Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year?  Do you change things up or go with the traditional pieces that have worked for you throughout the years?

Great inspiration. We are pretty casual around here. Other than a festive table centerpiece and maybe a different runner…it is all about the whites dishes around here.

Cute post. I try to avoid Target as often as possible. Seems I always find tons that I just have to have.

Love your picks and loooove Target. Great way of changing up the traditional harvest/Thanksgiving palette. Love the owls- I've seen them everywhere this fall. We will be going to my mom's a half mile away but I bring all the desserts
