Outlet-astic Finds

Hello!

I hope the weather is beautiful where you are, as we have been enjoying some beautiful springtime temps around here, and I’m loving it!  Although I did hear that allergy season is supposed to be particularly difficult this year thanks to our harsh winter.  My eyes itch just thinking about it.

I made another trip to one of the Bargains & Buyouts outlets, since I was in the neighborhood after meeting a girlfriend for lunch (read about my other visits here and here).  I picked up this cute little number for the low, low price of $48.  Yes, a 5×8 rug for $48.

I don’t know if you can tell, but it’s navy blue, not black.  It gives me a little vertigo looking at it full on, I’ll admit it.

But with furniture on top of it, I’m good. 🙂  Plus, it works nicely with my slipper chair.

My office is starting to take on more of a preppy look with the punches of green and blue I’ve been using in here.

But, I’m digging it!  With the walls being a nice neutral backdrop (stencil aside), that leaves the door open for fun punches of color, and allows me to change my color direction on a whim.

I saw another gorgeous rug while I was at the outlet that would be nice to have as a “backup” if I want to change things up somewhere in the house.  This was a larger one – 8×10 I think.

Some of my friends here locally have made the trip to Bargains and Buyouts and have scored as well.  My friend Kelly picked up this big beautiful rug for $100.

My friend Hollie is in the midst of building her dream home (which I am hoping to share with you once it’s complete, because I’m sure it’s going to be A-MAZING), and is on the hunt to fill it up without breaking the bank.  She shared some of her finds with me, and I’m loving what she found.

Is this not fantastic?  Oh my gosh, I love it!

And this amazingly massive bench?  Hello, I love you.

I hope I’m not boring you to tears with my obsession with this place, but I just love it, and am always excited to find an outlet that is a true outlet.

A few more shots of some of the steals and deals that I saw while I was there.

This light fixture was fantastic – great for a large entryway.  The price was slashed already, and they were offering additional discounts, so the final price was $125.  I know, crazy, right?

More pretty headboards, although I still haven’t found just the right one for our bedroom (yet).

Awesome coffee table.

And chairs galore!

Not to mention, more rugs.

In case you’re in the area, here are the addresses for their two locations, since they’re not places you would notice unless you were looking for them.

7600 Colerain Avenue.
Cincinnati, OH 45239
(It’s tucked behind a strip mall type of place, and is definitely off the beaten path)

2290 Dixie Highway
Hamilton, OH 45015

Have a great day!

Wow – those are some amazing finds! And like you said, I love that they actually have outlet prices (unlike the Frontgate "Outlet"). I'll be in Cinci in April so will definitely check it out. Is one location better than the other?

Oh my gosh Jenny, you're killing me with this greatness! You're so lucky to have such a great store. I bet there are some similar stores in Houston. I need to track them down. Love it all!

What a fabulous store…wish we had one! I have that chevron rug too (black) and I liked it better in my son's room than in my entry. It is a little dizzying but much better if something is over it. What great finds!

Thank you for introducing me to the store! I found your blog a few weeks ago when searching for SW Riverway paint color on Google. I live in the Cincy area and love the B&B outlets. I am lucky enough to live between the two locations:)

Thank you so much for posting this info! We are a military family moving to Dayton from Japan. The house we will be living in has hardwood floors throughout and I will need many rugs. I’m so happy these locations are near the area. Woohoo!
