Girl’s Room in Green and a Master Peg Board

Hello!

In my quest to put a dent in my never-ending list of projects, I have a couple things to share.  My daughter has been after me for awhile now, asking for a new color in her bedroom, so I finally got down to business.  Like all projects around here, it’s morphing into something more, but it’s off to a great start.  Here is a preview:

I’m loving this green, and it’s just feeding my spring fever, on the eve of more wintry weather, no less.  Mother Nature needs to have it out with Old Man Winter – he has overstayed his welcome!

Then, as part of my Quest for Organization this year, I added a pegboard to my master closet, taking me one step closer to organizational bliss.  Is it sad that this hole-filled piece of fiber board makes me happy?  I don’t even mind putting things away now!

I especially love that all of my necklaces are not in a tangled, knotted mess displayed so that I can grab one and go on my merry way.

For now I’m hanging my scarves here too.

And a little hook for belts too.

Here is how this space has evolved so far –

Sometimes it’s the little things that make you happy, isn’t it?  I’m thinking I need to add one of these peg boards to my daughter’s room, since she tends to have hoarder tendencies likes to collect things.

What are you working on this week?  Don’t forget to link up to the February Project Party!
