This summer ended up being crazy busy, not only with the kids, but with kitchen jobs. I took a short break at the end of the summer to go on vacation, to Haven and then get ready for back-to-school, and I’m ready to get back to it, with jobs in the pipeline. But, I thought it would be fun to do a recap of all of the things that I’ve worked on this summer. There is actually more to come – some of the homeowners I worked with were continuing to do more work and I’m still waiting on photos of some more finished kitchens. 🙂
There are some that I’ve shared, and some new ones in here as well. It’s kind of fun to look at all of them and see what I’ve accomplished. Whew, I’m tired!
An oak kitchen – already had great bones, but the homeowner wanted to lighten it up a bit. So we did.
This is one of those kitchens that’s still in a state of flux. A lot of changes have taken place already – new floors, the addition of some more cabinetry for storage, and I came in to do the cabinets. Still waiting on the backsplash, so I’m excited to see it all come together.
You had a peek at this pretty kitchen earlier in the summer. I added the hardware, and it’s looking so pretty and polished now that the walls and cabinets have been painted.
Small Kitchen, Big Style
Then there’s this pretty little jewel box. This is probably one of my favorites, only because it’s such a big transformation for a relatively small kitchen. It’s so light, bright and pretty now, and I love all of the changes that were made in here.
This is another kitchen that has seen a lot of changes (and still has more to come). The backsplash was changed out to a classic subway tile with gray grout, and the walls are about to get dramatic. I’ll be sure to share another “after the after” on this one.
Then there were some built-ins that got some love. So fresh and crisp now, don’t you think?
A big thanks to D. Lawless Hardware, who provided the knobs and pulls for most of these makeovers. Check him out if you’re in the market for some new hardware for your kitchen, bath or furniture pieces!
I know I’m missing more kitchens, but I will share them, I promise. These collages have been giving me fits, and I feel like I need a course on how to deal with photos on a Mac, because it just doesn’t make sense sometimes (and it’s late).
Starting on another kitchen tomorrow!
